i <3 my makeup!.

alongside piles and piles of fashion mags, us news, us week, rolling stone & blender, i also need my daily fix of the latest in cosmetics, hence my subscription to allure (and it doesn't hurt that fashion is mixed into that as well & the most random articles ever!). so i thought i should do a makeup post, i almost sometimes feel like i like it better than fashion.. eeeek!. hehe just kidding folks!. oh, and i have this really bad tendency (when i'm not typing up a case study or press release for class) to add a period at the end of a sentence even though it already has a question mark or an exclamation point.. LMAO!! i got it from Jin the MC (chinese rapper) when we were briefly in contact. ;) the groupie days!!!. anyway, here are my cosmetic must-haves:

1. M.A.C. Studio Fix Foundation w/SPF15: I switch up between NC44 for the winter & NC45 for the summer when my skin's a little more tan. This seriously is the best coverage & fluidity I've ever gotten from a foundation, PERIOD!

2. Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in onyx (black): I don't do liquid anymore coz sometimes it's just messy & requires some precision that quite frankly, I don't have time for! The name speaks for itself, it really is unstoppable(unsmearable more like)-- i once used it backstage at a fashion show to draw on the model's backs & it seriously did not smudge or move! loves it!

3. Andrea Modlash false eyelashes: I forgot what # I use, but I think it's #36-- the outter edges are longer so they create a catlike eye look. I'm trying to get off my addiction of false eyelashes, so I asked my cousin who works @Clinique for eyelash tips, because her eyelashes look so FAKE, full, long and luscious! Yet they are real. She just e-mailed me back w/THREE paragraphs on how to achieve fuller, longer lashes w/o the false! LOL. I'll post later!

4. M.A.C. browset in 'Show-Off': Can't forget the eyebrows!!! Like any true makeup artist would say, eyebrows make the face, if you ain't got them right then everything is off! After searching endlessly for an eyebrow product that would make my hairs stick, this one was the answer to my prayers. But being asian, I prefer the browset in MINK(it's a darker shade of brown thus more natural-looking), which is coming back temporarily in a line being debuted at M.A.C. at the end of September, stock up my fellow asians before it's discontinued again :)

5. Clinique Blush in 'Aglow': I really don't have much to say about this, but it flatters ANY skin tone and seriously does wonders for that natural, dewy, glowy look without being over-the-top. I get compliments on my 'glow' all the time & recommend it to all my friends!

6. Tub of Vaseline: 'Nuff said, this is great for multi-purpose uses: chapped lips, make-up remover, to put over your eyeshadow for a moist look, etcetera. Plus you can get a small tub(that will last you forever) for just 99 cents, can't go wrong w/that.

7. There isn't one particular lipgloss I use so I'll just list my favorites: Lip Venom Lip Plumper, Bath & Body C.O. Bigelow Ultra-mentha lip shine, MAC chromeglass in 'metalphysical', various NARS glosses (can't think of the names right now lol), Rimmel lipliner in 'eastend snob' and burt's bee's! loves.

okaaaaaaay... i really should be working so i'm gonna hop on outta here, but i'll leave ya with a picture of me & Siders (BFF since jr high!) from over the weekend :)
